A Lexi's puppy will come to you healthy, with a neopar vaccination at 4 weeks, it's first puppy booster at 8 weeks and fully dewormed. Our puppies are offered as pet only without papers unless we have agreed to sell you a puppy with AKC registration/breeding rights prior to the sale of the puppy. Pet only puppies must be spayed/neutered per contract. Your puppy will come to you well socialized by children and exposed to cats, other dogs, and our goat. Yes our goat loves dogs. They will be started on pad training and going outside weather permitting. You will also receive a puppy pack with your puppy to get you started including a sample of their puppy food. Your puppy will also come with a one year health guarantee and a health certificate from the veterinarian.
If you found a puppy you like, a non refundable deposit of $200 will reserve your puppy until it is 8 weeks of age. This deposit comes off the final purchase price of the puppy. if you do not pick up your puppy by 8 weeks of age (or other plans for pick up for a later date have not been made) your puppy will be relisted and you will not receive your deposit back. We no longer offer shipping. Your puppy must be picked up at our home. We do not sell our puppies to pet stores or brokers so do not even ask. We want loving, pet homes for our babies.
We reserve the right to refuse the sale of any pupy even after a deposit has been taken if we feel there is a legitimate reason for the refusal. We do NOT ship. You must come to our home to pick up your new puppy.
If you cannot pick up your puppy on the puppy pick up date/time and have not made plans with us previous to sending the deposit you will forfeit your deposit and your puppy will be placed as available. We ask that you make plans in enough time to be able to pick up your puppy when it is ready to go. We usually have multiple families picking up puppies and we plan accordingly. If you need a later pick up date than 8 weeks please discuss this with us BEFORE sending the deposit. We will require a fee to cover any additional shots your puppy may need or supplies. You also may be charged for the additional health certificate for your puppy if we have no other puppies going home at that time that will also need a certificate. We plan our health certs around all our puppies going home in groups so we can avoid being charged several times for one litter.
Puppy pick up days will be Saturdays. Generally group pick up time will be between 10 and 11:00. If we have more than one litter going home on the same day we will do a second pick up group at 12:00 to 1 and so on. This information will be listed on each individual litter page. If you have any questions PLEASE ask. We do group pick ups to help keep us organized and it gives the buyer the opportunity to meet all the pups in the litter as well as the families adopting them for you to exchange information if you'd like to keep in touch with the other families. It also gives me more time in the weekend to spend with my family after puppies go home.
Most importantly we do not take checks on final pick up. We do accept them for deposits. Cash is required upon pick up. If you do not bring cash to pick up your puppy, you cannot take your puppy home. I have had too many checks bounce after the puppies have been taken home and it's extremely difficult for me to do anything about it after. So please bring cash. I do not like to be put in the position to have to tell you that you cannot take your puppy if you do not have it and I am sure you don't want to hear that either! So please be prepared when picking up your puppy. No exceptions!
